Orion's Nebula.

Orions Nebula
Orion's Nebula
Since I can remember, I have been interested in what was beyond our atmosphere. And since the first time I saw Jupiter and Saturn through a telescope, I have been hooked. But I had to be happy with photos from the net and looking at the starts at night, as the telescope was loaned to me and didn't have the resources to obtain one at the time.

But I have now managed to get my hands on my very own telescope. And here is my first attempt at what is called, astrophotography. This is of Orion's Nebula, and it was taken with my Celestron 5" telescope and Canon 600D camera at 25s exposure and many other settings I already have forgotten.

There was no post processing done as I have not learned  that yet. So this is a raw image of what space looks like many billions of kilometers away and many years ago.

Enjoy.
