Have you ever felt that the day is too much to handle?
So stressed and frustrated that you just want to pack your things and disappear to an exotic island and forget about everything?
Well I have found this wonderful little technique to help relieve the stress from the day, you can apply it anywhere and anytime. It only takes a minute.
- Close your eyes and imagine yourself in a safe and comfortable place.
- Breathe in deeply through your nose. Hold for two counts. Breathe out through your mouth.
- Breathe in "Peace" through your nose as you tense your neck and facial muscles. Hold for a few seconds and then breathe out "Tension" through your mouth as you relax.
- Now breathe in "Tranquility" through your nose while tensing your back, arms, chest and stomach. Hold for a few seconds and then breathe out "Frustration" as you relax.
- Inhale "Harmony" through your nose while you tense your buttock, legs and feet. Exhale "Anger" through your mouth as you relax.
- Feel completely relaxed and safe.
Repeat this technique once or twice more as needed. You will immediately feel better as your tension dissipates. You will be ready to overcome any challenges that lie before you.
